Applications are invited from male citizens of Pakistan to fill up the vacancies on a purely contract basis in the below-mentioned category:-

AGE LIMIT:- 1.18-25 years + 5 years General Age Relaxation in upper age limit on the closing date for receipt of applications. 2.The age of candidates belonging to the scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Rural & Balochistan, recognized tribes of the Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir & Northern Areas is relaxed for 3 years in addition to item No.1 above. 3.In case of Ex-Servicemen, the upper age limit is further relaxed to the extent of 15 years or the number of years actually served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less. 4.The age of Government servants and contract employees who have completed 2 years of continuous Government service on the closing date for receipt of application is relaxed by 10 years in addition to item No.1. (upto age of 55 years) 5.The age of child of deceased Civil Servant who has died during service is relaxed by 5 years in addition to item No.1 above. 6.Where a candidate is entitled to age relaxation under more than one category specified above, he shall be allowed relaxation in age only in one category. D. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES:- 1.The departmental candidates shall submit their applications through proper channel (NOC). 2. Applications carrying incorrect information shall be summarily rejected. Only those candidates who fulfill the laid down criteria are eligible to apply. Candidates to whom final transcript has not been issued shall not be eligible to apply. 3. No TA/DA shall be admissible for written test & interview. 4. The candidate selected will be required to:- a. To pass prescribed Medical Examination and must be cleared by Security Agencies b. To undergo specified training. 5. If any document provided by candidates is found bogus at any stage, the appointment will be treated as cancelled. E. QUOTA:- The following quota will be observed:- a. 60% Open Merit. b. 5% quota is fixed for Minorities/non-Muslims. c. 5% quota is fixed for Orphans. (Death Certificate of father from NADRA is mandatory) d. 10% quota is fixed for Ex-Servicemen. (Certificate is mandatory) e. 20% quota for son of Railway Employee including 2% fixed for son of Railway deceased employees. (Railway Cards are mandatory) F. WEIGHTAGE FOR SELECTION:- 70% Written Test 30% Interview G. NOTE:- 1. The Competent Authority has the right to reject any application without assigning any reason and may also alter the number/distribution of vacancies. 2. Processing fee amounting to Rs.1000/- for each application must be deposited at C.C.T Cash Office, Lahore, all Station Masters and Booking Offices of Pakistan Railways. Its Miscellaneous Receipt (M.R) should be uploaded with each application.
